Meet Me at the Movies: Time for a Samara Weaving Double Feature!

On a recent episode of Meet Me at the Movies, I joined Noel T. Manning to discuss a few of my favorite SXSW 2026 titles. Since you can only cover so many well in one episode, I returned to talk about two Samara Weaving-led films that both screened during the festival: Ready or Not: Here I Come (in theaters now) and Over Your Dead Body (coming to theaters April 24th).

It’s always a pleasure to join Noel on Meet Me at the Movies and even more of one when able to talk about titles that provide a great time at the theater.

In this special bonus episode of Meet Me at the Movies, host Noel T. Manning II welcomes back film critic Douglas Davidson (Elements of Madness) for an extended conversation sparked by their recent SXSW coverage. This time—spotlighting IFC Films’ SXSW entry Over Your Dead Body, starring Jason Segel and Samara Weaving (on Theatres April 24), and expanding the discussion with a look at the current theatrical release Ready or Not 2: Here I Come.
