As a writer, my comfort zone is putting my thoughts on paper and hitting publish, but there’s truly nothing like having a conversation with a fellow film nerd. In this case, joining fellow NCFCA member Cameron Allison on his The Home for Anime podcast to talk about director Shingo Yamashita’s Cosmic Princess Kaguya! that released on Netflix in January, an adaptation of the Japanese folktale, The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter. I do my best to hold my own with Cameron as his knowledge of anime is among the best in my circle. It was an honor to do this with him and hope I didn’t embarrass myself too much.
