A Conversation with “Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die” director Gore Verbinski.

Oscar-winning filmmaker Gore Verbinski joins EoM Senior Interviewer Thomas Manning for a discussion on Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die.

This is Verbinski’s first film as director since 2016, and his signature kinetic energy is back and better than ever. In this interview, Verbinski talks about his experience in capturing the musicality of human movement on film, as well as his collaboration with cinematographer James Whitaker.

Official Synopsis:

A man claiming to be from the future takes the patrons of an iconic Los Angeles diner hostage in search of unlikely recruits in a quest to save the world.

Thomas Manning is a member of the NCFCASEFCA, and CCA, and also the co-host of the television show and radio program Meet Me at the Movies. He has served as a production assistant and voting member on the Film Selection Committee for the Real to Reel Film Festival. Additionally, he manages his own film review and interview site, The Run-Down on Movies. Manning is a graduate of Gardner-Webb University with a double-major in Communications and English. His passion for cinema and storytelling is rivaled only by his love for the music of Taylor Swift.
