In this interview, EoM Senior Interviewer Thomas Manning speaks with actor and writer Michael Jai White about his work on the new action film As Good As Dead.
White talks about the process of modeling the film’s protagonist after his own late brother, collaborating with director R. Ellis Frazier, and working in movies with his wife, Gillian White. Looking back to a previous role, Michael Jai White also briefly reflects on his experience working with Christopher Nolan and Heath Ledger on The Dark Knight.

Thomas Manning is a member of the NCFCA and SEFCA, and also the co-host of the television show and radio program Meet Me at the Movies. He has served as a production assistant and voting member on the Film Selection Committee for the Real to Reel Film Festival. Additionally, he manages his own film review and interview site, The Run-Down on Movies. Recently, Manning graduated from Gardner-Webb University with a double-major in Communications and English.
