EoM contributor Thomas Manning speaks with actor and co-writer Karan Soni about his work on the indie film 7 Days.

During this conversation, Soni speaks about collaborating with his co-star Geraldine Viswanathan in this romantic comedy, his development of the script with writer/director (and his real-life partner) Roshan Sethi, and what it was like to shoot a feature film over a tight 8-day period. Plus, Soni gets a moment to share his appreciation for Steven Spielberg.

Official Synopsis:

From the Duplass Brothers. Set-up on a pre-arranged date by their old-fashioned Indian parents, Ravi and Rita seemingly have nothing in common. The situation turns both awkward and enlightening when they find themselves trapped inside together for a week.

Thomas Manning is a member of the NCFCA and SEFCA, and also the co-host of the television show and radio program “Meet Me at the Movies.” He has served as a production assistant and voting member on the Film Selection Committee for the Real to Reel Film Festival. He is currently studying film, television, and English at Gardner-Webb University.
