Open Dialogue with “The Dry” writer/producer/director Robert Connolly and actor Genevieve O’Reilly.

Today on Open Dialogue, Noel T. Manning II interviews The Dry writer, producer, director Robert Connolly and acting talent Genevieve O’Reilly (Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, Rogue One, and Rebels, The Matrix, Tin Star, The Glitch, Tolkien).

Starring Eric Bana and O’Reilly, The Dry is a mystery/crime/drama based on the Australian best seller by Jane Harper. This film explores crimes, past and present, secrets and regrets. Through the backdrop of an Australian landscape gone “dry” from drought – audiences are transported into a relationship study where nothing is quite what it seems. IFC films, The Dry makes its American debut Friday, May 21st in select theaters and on demand everywhere you rent movies.


Noel T. Manning is a member of the CCA, SEFCA and the NCFCA and is also the host of the television program and radio show Meet Me at the Movies. He’s the founder of the Real to Reel Film Fest and is an adjunct professor of film studies. When he’s not embracing mainstream, indie, international, documentary or art films, he’s digging into the world of cinema by chatting with principle individuals involved in various aspects of the filmmaking industry.
