Official Synopsis:

After a harrowing experience, a small-town woman borrows money from her estranged brother and travels alone across West Texas in need of urgent medical care. When her truck breaks down, she is forced to rely on strangers, encountering both support and risk throughout her journey. A local preacher becomes a notable presence as she continues forward under increasing pressure. As her options narrow, she is pushed toward an impossible decision that leads her to break the law in order to move forward.
