The Cine-Men, Episode 16

Episode by episode co-hosts Darryl and Douglas inch ever closer to the 1-year mark for The Cine-Men. Before they hit that milestone, however, they take some time to look back on the films of 1989 that meant something special to them. Some you’ve heard of, others maybe not, but we guarantee they were made in 1989. In addition to the main topic, they spend a little time catching up, Douglas throws out a few films to keep an eye out for, and – of course – they dig into the latest Cine-Men Challenge. For Douglas, this meant watching the Netflix Original Polar, while Darryl watched Animal World, also streaming on Netflix.

What are some of your favorite films from 1989? What did we miss? What would you shine a light on? Be sure to let us know in the comments below.
