There are few greater joys as a film critic than having the chance to share a few cinematic favorites that others may not have heard about or may have forgotten. But what makes that even better is doing it with friends like Darryl Mansel and Noel T. Manning on an episode of Manning’s Meet Me at the Movies. In this recent episode, the three of us discuss the films released during the summer season that folks may have not realized are summer films!
Additionally, as a bit of a mea culpa, I need to apologize for accidentally misspeaking early in the episode by referring to Japan when the correct country Bong Joon-ho’s Okja takes place in is Korea. That’s a really terrible faux pas, especially while discussing a film that I truly love.
