Sometimes what the studio/distributor releases just doesn’t live up to what the director envisioned. Because of that, we’ve seen countless tweaks, re-edits, and conversions done on films from The Shining to Star Wars. On this latest Cine-Men episode, Darryl and I discuss our favorite Director’s Cuts – the ones we immediately think of as the most significant in change from original cut to adjusted. Don’t worry, we also chat a bit about some recent watches and get down to business with this episode’s Cine-Men Challenge in which Darryl watched Daredevil: Director’s Cut and I watched Memories of Murder.
You probably already think I got the better end of the deal. You’ll just have to listen to find out.
Cine-Men hosts Douglas Davidson and Seed discuss movies they’ve seen recently, their favorite director’s commentaries, and the Cine-Men Challenge.
