The Cine-Men, Episode 53 with special guest Michael Reyes.

The CW’s Leonard Snart, a.k.a. Captain Cold, has four rules for planning:

  1. Make the plan.
  2. Execute the plan.
  3. Expect the plan to go off the rails.
  4. Throw away the plan.

This may not seem like the ideal way to prevent catastrophe, but it’s an excellent way to approach a podcast when you’ve got a special guest involved. For our latest episode of The Cine-Men, Darry Mansel and I are joined by CinemaBlend’s own Senior Movie Contributor Michael Reyes. We three had planned and prepared to do one thing, but we were having so much fun discussing Mike’s experience covering film that we had no choice but roll with things and we had a ball. If we’re lucky, Mike felt the same and will come back for another show. Maybe next time we’ll actually get to the topic at hand. Or not. Doesn’t really matter when you’re having fun.

Episode Description:

In this episode of the show, Cine-Men hosts Douglas Davidson and Seed are joined by the ebullient Mike Reyes to talk about all things film criticism, journalism, and movies in general.
