A Conversation with Justine Barda of Telescope Film.

Justine Barda is the founder of Telescope Film. She believes it is important for American audiences to gain an appreciation for and understanding of foreign language (and international) cinema.

Through the development of the website Telescopefilm.com, Barda and team have created a database connecting thousands of films and hundreds of cultures for a cinema-loving society. Hoping to show the world that we’re more alike than different, this portal may allow you to step outside of your echo chamber and explore a whole new world of cinema.

**Telescope Film promotes American viewership of international film through its website and marketing services. Thanks to digital distribution, the American audience now has unprecedented access to films from around the world. The mission of Telescope Film is to connect those films with the people who want to watch them — and to help that audience grow.
