A Conversation with director Midge Costin.

Midge Costin has worked as a feature film sound editor and special effects editor on legendary blockbusters of the audio landscape (Armageddon, The Rock, Days of Thunder, Crimson Tide to name a few). Her debut documentary Making Waves: The Art of Cinematic Sound is a history of the auditory journey of film. On this episode of Cinemascene, Midge shares her stories with Noel T. Manning II on WGWG.

Noel T. Manning is a member of the CCA and the NCFCA and is also the host of the television program and radio show Meet Me at the Movies. He’s the founder of the Real to Reel Film Fest and is an adjunct professor of film studies. When he’s not teaching cinema in the classroom, he enjoys digging into the world of movies by chatting with principle individuals involved in various aspects of the filmmaking industry.
